To Mercy Ministries & OthersIn 1993 I was diagnosed with having Fibromyalgia. My whole life had become a nightmare of pain, doctors, prescriptions, numerous painful tests, alternative treatment, prayer & despair. I tried every known pain killer, medical prescriptions, herbal remedies including, evening primrose oil, gelatinin, melantonin, vitamins of every kind, devils claw, gensing, glucosamine, glucosamine with chondritin, even such bizaare things such as soaking flannel in hot castor oil [as described in Cayce's "The Sleeping Prophet" in my sheer desperation for relief of pain], physiotherapy, acupunture, massage, heat, cold, splints, etc.
I tried & bought numerous pillows, splints, special heating pads. I spent a small fortune with minimal relief, or temporary relief for an hour or two. I attended numerous specialists: rhematologists, pain relief seminars, group therapy sessions, chiropractors, naturopaths, iridologists, reflexology, reiki, meditation, tai chi, therpeutic swimming & still the pain persisted. I changed diets; no red meat, no sugars, no salt, limited wheat products, avoided caffeine. I avoided cooking as preparing food aggravated my hands. I changed my style of dress, sweat shirts [no buttons], pull on slacks. Appearance was no longer important.
I am normally a happy extrovert having been a professional concert singer & then a legal secretary. I had a busy fulfilling life with a full time job, a hobby of singing/performing & teaching voice. When this happened my life disintegrated. Chronic fatigue I found hard to describe, like the muscles were being twisted & burned at the same time. Simple, taken for granted activities became a nightmare, heavy doors were a battle.
My son-in-law bought me a Shiatsu massager for Christmas which I could not use, as I couldn't lift my arms to my shoulders. In his compassion he persisted in getting me to try other products. I must admit I was cynical & ignored his first suggestion to try a new discovery in Canada. However I finally got my first shipment on Aug/18th/97.
Within four days I noticed a change in my energy level & began working in my garden. It was about ten days later when I noticed I had no pain in my back, the back of my legs & ankles. I was able to walk up & down the stairs in my home with flexibility & ease. On Aug/31st I noticed I was sitting in the Lotus posion watching television. I was so happy, I began running up & down the stairs in my home.
As each day progressed I noticed an improvement. My immune system was so depleted two years ago I came down horribly sick with shingles, which left me with permanent nerve damage which had disappeared in this two week time period. Then I noticed a dramatic change. My right shoulder had been frozen since Jan/94, it became extremely painful & I thought I was losing ground somehow, but a pattern emerged. The areas where I had the most intense pain, my shoulders, the back of my head & arms became extremely painful, climaxed & then the healing process began.
My right shoulder is unfrozen & 95% pain free, my left shoulder has gone through the same procedure & is now pain free. I continued to notice improvements each day. My digestive system ruined over medications [sometimes as many as 20 Tyelenol a day] was improving. I have been on Naprosyn, Voltaren, Novasen, Amytriptillin, Norgesic, & when the shingles hit me Oxycet, a derivative of Percoden. Now I take my high blood pressure pills [I don't think I need them, but continue to be cautious], my mutivitamins & calcium A, D, C. I only take Tylenol for occasional headaches, the overwhelming pain is under control mostly gone hopefully all of it forever. My life is mine to enjoy again, thanks to HMS 90 & I thank God for Dr. Bounous & his research team.
